Why I Didn't buy the Toshiba Satellite L300-19F

When I went to buy a lap top, I was thinking between the one I did buy, and this one. The price difference is small, but the performance difference is so huge, that the choice actually made it self, sort of speak.

This particular model has these characteristics:

Processor: Intel® Pentium® dual-core processor T3200 2,0 GHz, 1 MB L2 cache, 667 MHz FSB

Memory: 3 GB , (max. 4 GB) , 2 socket, 0 free

Hard disc: 160 GB, 5400 rpm SATA

Monitor: TruBrite 15.4" Wide TFT , 1280 x 800

Optical device: DVD Super-Multi (Double layer)

Graphics card: Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M

Port: Realtek (802.11(b/g)

Audio: Intel high definition

Batery: Lithium-Ion 6 cells

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium

Weight: 2,7 kg.

Waranty: 2 years.

I can't even start to compare the 2 models. It's just funny how they try to slip you this one, by offering a free 2GB USB stick that costs around $4. Nice, huh?
